Within this section, I am going to try and answer some Frequently Asked Questions.  Not all questions are stupid, but some are rather ignorant.  I am always being asked the same questions over and over, and sure I agree, it might be the first time this new person has asked the question, but it's getting OLD man...  so here it goes.

1. What is Satanism?   Satanism is both a belief system and a way of life, for most Satanists.  It all depends on who you talk to.  There are some Satanists who have never done a ritual, and do not believe or use magic(k) what-so-ever.  Magic(k) and rituals are NOT required to be a Satanist.  Satanism is a belief system because it teaches you how to be your own god, to take control of your own life, and it empowers you to better yourself.  Satanism is NOT the worship of some deity named Satan, Just as Buddhism is not the worship of Buddha.   Satanism opens your eyes, and your mind to what's around you.  When I discovered Satanism at the ripe age of 15 and was handed The Satanic Bible, everything seemed to click and fall into place for me, it was an awakening. 
2. Why call it Satanism if you don't believe in SATAN?  I believe LaVey coined the Term Satanist in 1966 when he Founded the Church of Satan.  It was another word that is and was meant to have FREE THINKING(ism).  To think for yourself, and to Question what does not seem right goes against everything the Church stands for.  The very word Satan is huge for shock value alone, but to have a real meaning is something else.
3. Do you worship Satan?  No.  The word Satan is a Hebrew word which means The Opposer, or the Accuser.  When Christianity came about some couple hundred years after Christ was crucified the scholars adopted the word Satan as the name for their boogey man.  He was used to keep their flock in line and make sure they didn't run astray.  Later on somewhere in the time line they even threw in a Fallen Angel named Lucifer and said he was also Satan.  Such a confused bunch of individuals.  I don't recognize anything as Satan, so, that would be a big negative.
4. Do you worship the devil?  No. I do not hold anything above myself.  I worship nothing.  Well, maybe a beer or two, and some sexy little lady every now and then.  Certainly not a devil, Satan, boogey man, or anything along those lines.
5. Do you believe in God?  No.  I don't believe in ANYTHING I can't see, smell, touch, hear, or taste.   My 5 senses are there for a reason, and my 6th sense tells me all of this religious mumbo jumbo is a waste of time.  I don't know a god, haven't ever known a god, and won't ever know a god.
6. Where do you think you're going to go when you die?  I really don't know.  I really don't care.  I don't fear death either.   I see dying as another step in life.  It is the next phase in what ever is in store for us.  I believe Heaven & Hell is a state of mind, not a place of being.  If I were surrounded by a thousand beautiful women, that would be Heaven for me.  Likewise if I were surrounded by a bunch of gay men, that would be Hell.  I don't think heaven & Hell are the same for everyone, but it's a state of mind.  After all, if your emotions torture you, would your physical body know the difference?
7. How do you sell your soul to the devil?  I don't know.  I don't even think the devil exists, much less make a deal with him/her/it.  I'd imagine if the devil did actually exist, it would not have a gender, and that is probably irrelevant, so I digress.
8. Have you been a Satanist all your life? Yes. I have.  I came to the realization I was a Satanist at the ripe age of 15 when my girlfriend handed me The Satanic Bible in High School and told me to read it.  Upon doing so, I read it a couple more times picking up on the things I missed the first time or two and everything seemed to click...  My life suddenly fell into place and I understood why I felt the way I did, and thought the way I did, and it made me much happier.  I don't believe a Satanist is converter, I believe you're born a Satanist, a Free Thinker, and you just come to realize it one day.
9. Do you kill animals in rituals?  No.  I do not believe in harming Animals.  I believe in Nature and Survival, and if the only way to survive is to kill an animal for food and cover that is acceptable, but not for any Sacrificial Rituals.  
10. Do you kill babies in rituals?  No. I have never harmed a child in any capacity.  I do not believe in killing innocent children for some sick and twisted rituals to get anything.  I do not support child abuse, or neglect, and find its association with Satanism offensive.  The Christian / Catholic Church will say anything to bad mouth what they don't understand, and this is simply a lie.
11. Are you Emotionally Stable?  Yes.  I am Happy with my life.  I work, pay taxes, have my own place and own my own car.  I have served in the Military and walk through the streets on my own two feet the same as any man.  I am no different than you or them, save that I don't believe in the same gods and or deities.  I respect life, I am full of Compassion towards my friends and family.  I have pets I care for on a regular basis.
12. Do you use Drugs in your Rituals?  No.  I have never done a ritual while I was under the influence of any controlled or uncontrolled substance.  I don't think it is wise because you can not focus on your goals, and keep a clear mind.  I have done Drugs before in my past, but that is neither here nor there, and certainly more information that the question has asked for.
13. Do you have Satanic Orgies?  No.  I have had a few partners who are of like mind, and are Satanic, but it was completely consensual and not related to a ritual.  Satanists believe in Free Sex, as does many walks of life including but not limited to D/s, B.D.S.M., and many other societies.  Of course Sex can be used during a ritual, but I have not had the luxury of doing so just yet.
